White Leggings
If you have not been living in a hole the past few years you have witnessed the fashion phenomenon known simply as white leggings. Leggings in general have absolutely dominated the fashion market. White leggings have completely changed how we viewed leggings and tights. The best part of it all is that they are targeted and nearly every female demographic from young girls, through teens, and all the way to grown adults. Even though leggings had merely been a work out clothing item for quite some time, they have definitely ridden themselves of that stigma and are now extremely popular for any occasion.
If you don’t believe me about white leggings, open up a celebrity magazine, or any magazine for that matter. You will see all of your favorite starts wearing leggings and tabloids describing just how popular they have become. Turn on your favorite reality television show on MTV or whatever reality show you like to watch. You will see just how popular white leggings have become within a few minutes of viewing your favorite show. It seems as though everyone is wearing them, everyone has them on, and everyone loves them. Whether it be with a dress or skirt, or even completely on their own, it’s obvious that leggings are back in fashion these days. Even though there are a multitude of colors to choose from, white leggings are also a very popular item these days. The reason being that white, like black, is a versatile color and can be matched up with a variety of different colors that can be worn on top. White leggings matched properly wont be seen as being too flashy and yet stylish at the same time.
White leggings can be made out f a variety of different fabric, ranging from cotton, Lycra, spandex, nylon and even denim. The advantage of each material is different. The cotton models are generally considered to be the most comfortable because cotton is porous therefore more “breathable”. The spandex an Lycra white leggings varieties are more “stretchy” than the other materials so that makes them more popular with physically active crowd. If you are planning to go jogging or hiking or attend aerobics and dance classes than spandex and Lycra white leggings are recommended. Sometimes white leggings come with ornate patterns on them or with nice embroidery.
White leggings have nice clean look to them, but the downside can be that they tend pick up dirt easily, or in other words it can show easier. That is why generally people will not wear them for outdoor activity such as horse back riding or hiking. It is generally used for more formal occasions and parties. There are also white leggings that look like they have a metallic or shiny look to them. This kind is usually made from nylon or spandex, which are of course very stretchable materials. These type of white leggings are usually worn in the evening or club wear. All in all white leggings have a fantastic look to them when properly matched with the right clothes.
